Cruising on a Sunday!

Sunday was honestly one of the most fun days of diving an instructor can ever have. No students and three great friends out just FUN diving. Today, Chris and Wendy joined me along with Matt for some lazy Sunday afternoon diving.

Our first stop was Kewalo Pipe and I got to show these guys everything here. We had a nice spotted eagle ray swimming out by the fish bunkers and towards the end of the dive we came across a huge octopus. Wendy even got to see a few Hellers Barracuda near the end of the pipe!

Here’s a shot of the happy couple….. and of Matt, camera READY!

After a nice surface interval of sun and fun we headed over to Nautalus reef. WOW! What a surprise….. 15 minutes into our dive we come across this massive Hawaiian Sting Ray. I have only ever seen one of these guys before and it was almost 3 years ago. Crazy, huh I have seen more Humpback Whales than Hawaiian Rays!

Finally I snapped this shot off just to show how nice our reefs are….. look at all those fish baby!

Busy weekend of diving coming up with AM charter townside on Saturday and Westside Wreck Adventure on Sunday morning. Give me a ring and I’ll be happy to get you out diving!
